On the the generation of closed trajectories from two separatrix loops of a sewn saddle-node passing through a fork

We consider a two-parameter family of piecewise-smooth discontinuous vector fields in the plane. At zero values of the parameters, it is assumed that the vector field has a singular point on the discontinuity line of the sewn saddle-node type, the outgoing separatrix of which branch-es out and goes to the sewn saddle-node, forming two loops. In general position, we obtain a partition of the neighborhood of zero on the parameter plane by the number and type of closed trajectories born from these loops.

Statistical methods in SWOT analysis: choosing a development strategy for a student organization

The strategic development of a university is connected to the choice of development strategies. SWOT analysis is an effective tool that helps to find the right development strategy. Due to its versatility, this method allows one to determine possible strategies for the development of a stu-dent organization. There is no generally accepted method in the literature for conducting SWOT analysis, which made it necessary to develop such a method and test it on the example of the development of a university student organization. This paper presents the results of a study on the use of SWOT analysis based on statistical methods. The study provides methodological recommendations for creating the SWOT matrix, which reflects the relative frequency of events that influence the choice of a particular strategy. The authors present their approach to calculating the rank of strategies, which have been identified using SWOT analysis. They also consider the potential of the educational organization, the share of budget funds necessary to organize the planned event, the possible impact of “opportunities/threats” on the effective functioning of the student organization and the impact of the corresponding strategy on degree of satisfaction with the work of the student organization. This will reduce the risk of making the wrong decision when doing a SWOT analysis, due to the subjectivity of expert assessments and the predisposition of respondents to a particular strategy. The proposed procedure for statistical substantia-tion of SWOT analysis will increase the reliability of the data obtained as a result of the study and to correctly determine promising strategies for the development of a student organization. Based on the SWOT analysis, the identified strategies could improve the efficiency of the student organization.

Automata-based approach to automated business process logic in relational databases

Business or domain logic is an algorithm that defines how information is exchanged between a database and an end-user application. The article proposes an automata-based approach to embedding automated business process logic into relational databases. The steps of implement-ing business logic in SQL are described. The results of testing the proposed approach are considered on the example of the business process “order management” using the PostgreSQL da-tabase management system.

Development and research of quantum information processing model considering the presence of quantum noise

The article investigates the problem of information processing in quantum systems, considering the presence of quantum noise. Quantum noise is one of the main factors limiting the accuracy and efficiency of quantum computing and communications. The aim of the study is to develop and analyze a quantum model that can consider the impact of quantum noise on information processing. The article discusses various sources of quantum noise, such as zero-point noise, photon noise, and quantum measurement noise. Basic concepts and methods for estimating and minimizing quantum noise are presented, including error correction methods, environmental control, and optimization of quantum states. The article describes the developed quantum model of information processing considering noise effect. The influence of quantum noise on various quantum algorithms and protocols is analyzed. The authors present the results of numerical experiments, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed model in a realistic noise environ-ment. The work summarizes the results obtained and puts forward recommendations for the ap-plication of the quantum model of information processing with noise in various applied areas, such as quantum computing, quantum communication and quantum sensor systems. The work is of significant importance for the development of practical quantum technologies that allow effi-cient operation in real noise conditions and improve the reliability and accuracy of quantum information processing systems.

Analytical solutions of heat conduction problems with time-dependent boundary conditions

Using the additional function (AF) and additional boundary conditions (ABC), we found an ana-lytic solution to the boundary value problem of heat conduction for a plate with a boundary condition of the first kind linearly changing in time. The use of AF leads the equation in partial derivatives to a time ordinary differential equation, the solution of which allows one to find the eigennumbers determined in classical methods from the Sturm-Liouville boundary value prob-lem formulated in spatial variable. ABCs enable the execution of the equation at the boundaries, thereby ensuring its satisfaction within the studied region, without the need for direct integration of the equation with respect to the spatial variable. The least squares method is utilized to satisfy the initial condition, thereby enabling the determination of integration constants with a specified level of precision. This eliminates the necessity for defining complex integrals with respect to the spatial coordinate, while still preserving the analytical expression of the derived solution. There fore, in this case, an alternative approach for determining eigennumbers is examined. ABCs en-able the execution of the equation at the boundaries, thereby ensuring its satisfaction within the studied region, without the need for direct integration of the equation with respect to the spatial variable. The least squares method is used to satisfy the initial condition, thereby enabling the determination of integration constants with a specified level of precision. This eliminates the necessity for defining complex integrals with respect to the spatial coor.

Analysis of the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in cybersecurity

The study aims to review and analyze the application of the influence of artificial intelligence and machine learning on cybersecurity, their various types, applications, problems and the promising future they await. Using the capabilities of artificial intelligence and machine learning, organizations can strengthen the ways of protecting their networks from malicious threats and reduce cyber risks. In an ever-evolving digital world filled with constant cyber threats, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) is changing the way we protect our online domains. Thanks to the ability to model intelligent human behavior and analyze huge amounts of data, AI and ML play a crucial role in creating and processing cyber threat data to fight cybercrime.

The development of a geoinformation system-based module for the placement of charging stations in the context of electric transportation

Currently, there is global effort towards the development of electric transport as a replacement for traditional vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, which have a harmful effect on the environment due to carbon emissions from fuel combustion. Modern electric vehicles, electric-powered public transportation, and personal electric vehicles are being widely adopted. However, this process creates the need to implement specialized charging stations, since the devices have a limited capacity of energy storage and require regular charging. In urban areas, this task presents several challenges due to the need for optimal placement of charging stations within the road network. Factors such as route usage frequency, the pro-portion of electric vehicles, and battery charging time must be taken into consideration. Fortunately, the availability of power lines in urban environments provides numerous possibilities for the establishment of charging networks. However, the situation becomes more complex in rural or inaccessible terrains, such as mountain resorts or protected areas. In these areas, more difficulties arise due to rough terrain and the possible absence of power lines. Consequently, one potential solution is to utilize local renewable energy sources to power charging complexes. This paper proposes the development of a geoinformation system-based module for locating charging stations in rough terrains.
